P3 Learning Journey to Geylang Serai Heritage Gallery

History came alive for our Primary 3 students during the learning Journey to Geylang Serai Heritage Gallery. Students delved into the history of Geylang Serai and played the role of explorers to understand its importance to the Malay and Muslim communities in Singapore. Students got to hear stories and view artifacts at the gallery. Also, the students took a precinct walk to the Geylang Serai market, where they observed the bustling atmosphere of Malay, Indian, and Chinese food stalls, along with the diverse display of Malay traditional clothing and aromatic spice stalls. The students gained insights into the history of Geylang Serai and its pivotal role in the Malay and Muslim communities, making the learning journey an enriching experience.

P3 Learning Journey to Science Centre Singapore

To deepen Rosythians’ understanding on insects’ characteristics, their adaptations and life cycles which is part of their Science curriculum, Primary 3 Rosythians attend the “Insects Mysteries” workshop conducted by the Science Centre Singapore. They learn more about insects through a hands-on session. After the completing all the activities, they are awarded the “I am a Young Entomologist” badge. They are also provided with opportunities to explore their interest in Science beyond the syllabus through exhibit-learning as part of their self-directed learning experience.

P3 Titans Challenge

Titans Challenge integrates the subject disciplines of Science and PE. This programme aims to provide opportunities for students to practise growth mindset, develop collaborative skills, teamwork and care for peers, as they face physically challenging obstacles while attempting to complete a given Science challenge at each station.

P3-P1 Amazing Science

This collaboration allows our P3 students to share their knowledge on Diversity of Living Things with our P1 students in a fun and interactive way. Besides reinforcing their knowledge, it provides opportunities for the P3 students to build their confidence and also hone up their presentation and mentoring skills.
